Learn without illusions

I didn’t stop sharing. I stopped pretending.

Tiziano Gasparet

Five months ago, I deleted all my social accounts. Not to isolate myself. To hear my own voice again.

Before, every thought ended with a question: “Will this be liked?” Not “Is it true?”, not “Does it deserve to be said?” — but “Will this be liked?”

Learning a language isn’t about collecting words. It’s about learning to say what you feel — even when no one is listening.

Without the need for validation, I started writing again as I speak:

  • with pauses,
  • with second thoughts,
  • with sentences that don’t end,
  • with words that correct themselves.

Today, when I write “buonasera” at 3 p.m., I don’t justify it. I know it’s true — because I feel it. And this — more than any rule — is what makes Italian mine.

You don’t need a follower to be understood. You only need the courage to speak as you live.
